What is Flag Tag?
Passive RFID tags that are commonly used generate power and reacts at the radio frequency of the reader, thereby communicating with the reader. (Backscattering)
Once UHF-band RFID tags, which have become very popular, are attached to the metal or moist surface, the RF gets reflected and absorbed, making the recognition rate drop sharply. Therefore, special expensive tags are used for attaching this tag to the metal surface.

Flag tags can be used regardless of the attachment quality because, as the image below shows, the inlay is positioned vertically.

When using special tags, such as metal tags, it is required to attach stickers for visual marking, such as barcodes. Flag tags, however, support priting in the same way as ordinary labels.
